It seems that every skincare brand is coming out with their own versions of these at the minute, and I’ve heard so much about them online that I felt I needed to try it out for myself!
So I picked up the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water up probably just over a month ago now. It was on offer and was only £2.66 for 400ml – I thought this was the best deal in the shop at the time. I’m now almost halfway through my bottle and keep looking for this particular Micellar water but it’s always out of stock!
The fact I want to repurchase just goes to show how good this is! I have never had something that leaves my face feeling so clean. I feel like it just sucks the makeup and the dirt right out of my skin, and actually feels clean afterwards!
I personally prefer it over every method I have to cleanse my face, and sometimes use it morning and night! It’s also so refreshing to use, and the fact that all you have to do is put it on a cotton pad and wipe it over your face is so appealing to me. I’m super lazy when it comes to removing makeup, so usually just want to reach for a face wipe, but knowing that this is pretty much the same, just better for my skin. makes me skip past the face wipes!
It’s also one of the best things to remove my eye makeup. I’ve tried an array of things, from liquid removers to cream removers, even coconut oil, and nothing seems to fully remove my makeup without irritating my eyes or the skin around them. I have really sensitive eyes, and I’ve found micellar water doesn’t sting at all!
Overall, my skin feels so much better from using this and not face wipes! It’s encouraged me to want to look after my skin a lot more also! My skin is smoother and softer, and I’m finally back on my way to the skin I had when I was a teenager! I’m unsure if it’s the Micellar water, or the change in mindset that I’ve had when it comes to skincare, but I’m so happy I decided to incorporate this into my skincare routine, and I won’t be looking back anytime soon!
Verdict: Yes, it is 100% worth the hype!
