About two weeks ago, I was in Tesco at around midnight. And, if you’ve ever been in a supermarket at such a late hour, like me, then you will know the glory of the reduced foods section!
So me and the fella where looking through all the cheap rubbish that was going out of date, hoping that we’d find a nice sandwich or ready meal, when I spotted, tucked away at the back of the shelf, a Rimmel Apocalips!
Now when I saw that yellow sticker I grabbed that tube and couldn’t believe my eyes… I was already shocked at the fact it was reduced in the fridge section of the supermarket, but the price it had been reduced to was amazing!
I didn’t care what colour it was, if I was going to like it or not, I was going to get it, because I just couldn’t say no to the price.
Yes, that’s right, 60p!! From £6 to 60p! Do not ask me why, I just don’t know, but it was fate, because I have been wanting to try these since they first came out!
Now there wasn’t anything wrong with it, the seal was intact and the little clear plastic bit inside filled with product when I first opened it up, so I don’t know if the store was getting rid of this colour (I’ve not seen it since), or maybe an employee wanted it (naughty!), but I picked it up and it’s mine! All for 60p!
The colour is in Luna, which is a kind of nude coral orange colour, not something I would normal wear, but I think I actually like it! The formula is very lightweight and not sticky at all! This has definitely made me want to buy more of this range and also the matte line.
I think the brush is a little strange, but other than everything else about the product surpassed my expectations.
Even though I got this for 60p, I definitely think it is worth the £6 price tag.
Have you got any absolute beauty bargains? Let me know!
As always, thanks for reading!
